Services
Eden Holistic Pet Foods are proud to be a family owned company, established in the British rural countryside of Staffordshire, by husband and wife team Paul and Carol Conquest. The origins of Eden began after a conversation with a local vet who was an advocate for The Ancestral Diet. Its principle was simple, feed your pet what they would have historically eaten in the wild.
Each year, Battersea takes in around 7,000 animals and cares for them until they find new homes. They aim to never to turn away a dog or cat in need of help, caring for them until their owners or loving new homes can be matched. They rely entirely on donations to care for thousands of lost, abandoned and unwanted animals.
Animal welfare is a subject that is very close to our hearts. Eden products are tested by (our) animals and not on animals. Our own pets and a small number of pets owned by friends and family try out any new recipes and also eat the food every day. This way we can see the long term benefits a good diet has on health.
There is much debate on what is the "right food" for both us as humans and our beloved pets. Many opinions are driven by commercial requirements of the companies that make the food so it is difficult to get a clear view of what is right and wrong. History can teach us so much as it give a bench mark as to what was and should be a "normal diet".
In addition to our telephone and email helpdesk, Eden have two closed FaceBook forums which offer a wealth of information and support combined with many thousands of testimonials. The following guides provide a great starting point for determining how much your dog should be fed each day, nevertheless they should be adjusted to meet your dog's specific requirements.

After months of trying different dry kibble for my 9 month Lhasa-poo tzu, I was getting very frustrated with the amount of food I was wasting; expensive high-end, mid-range, cold pressed - you name it, he tried it and hated it all! I ordered a sample box directly from Eden (fantastic value by the way!) and oh my goodness - he likes them all! Have gone on to buy a bigger bag of the 80/20 Country Cuisine (this seemed to be his favourite) and he’s really enjoying ever mealtime now! The staff at Eden are absolutely lovely too!

We were given some samples from Farrah-Zeus’ breeder when we first brought him home, and because he loved the Original Cuisine so much we had always stuck with it. However, when we moved house we decided to use… supermarket brand for a short while because it was convenient 🤷🏽♀️ but noticed pretty quickly that Zeus’ fur didn’t look as thick and healthy as he did before. Right away I changed him back to Eden and he was ecstatic when it arrived in the post! 4.5 years on Zeus still loves every single bit of Eden Holistic’s Original Cuisine

Switching my dog to Eden was the best thing I ever could have done for him! He is a very fussy Labrador, and I was struggling to find him a kibble he would eat. It was awful to watch him turn his nose up at… food! I did some research and found Eden, and could smell the difference as soon as I opened the bag! My Lab now quite literally jumps for joy at dinner time, and eats it all straight away. He also now has NO smelly gas, and his coat is beautifully shiny! Thank you Eden for making such brilliant food! Here’s a pic of him jumping for joy at the mention of the word ‘dinner

Bought this for my cockapoo who loved it however she unfortunately lost a lot of weight on it. Advice was just to increase the volume or change flavour. Increase in amount led to diarrhoea which was explained. I changed to a different brand on the recommendation of my Vet who was concerned about her presentation. You could see her hip bones and ribs. The difference within a month was amazing. I commented in the Eden group re my experience and my thought that Eden just wasn't right for everyone despite it being a good brandand was swiftly removed! Poor response from Eden. Suppressing honest feedback

My dog lost weight on this food. She was very underweight and the company was unwilling to admit their dog food may be at fault. When I commented on another worried dog owners post re weight loss on their group page I was removed swiftly from the group! Poor response from Eden which has only prompted me to share my experience. I'm sure it is good… for a lot of dogs but not all! I know other dogs who do well on it and I was not being negative only expressing that I didn't feel it was right for all dogs despite the great composition of it. My dog is now thriving on a different brand. By denying

Received a free sample for the fish dry food which my puppy loved. Sadly after just 24 hours after trying my pup broke out in hives, started scooting and was generally uncomfortable. Took to emergency vets as my pup was very uncomfortable and was advised it was the food. Shame cause my pup really enjoyed these.

Best avoid as we bought a 12kg bag of dog food for our Labrador seeing this is a so called premium quality. When a Labrador won’t eat something you have got to question whether this product is any good. Customer services just refer you to the small print and the possibility of cross contamination now the packaging is open. Even the local Fox won’t touch it, so in the bin it goes. Would give Eden a zero star rating if I could. Interesting to see on their own website reviews are all wonderful which is utter rubbish!

A honest and aspiring to be the best company in the industry (premium pet products). On a company level, the business operates to assist everyone's pets to have a long and problem free life. The support is always there and they have a workforce that knows about the products they sell and try and customer service will help if a probelm arises with product or the animal.
Personally, the product I was introduced was the "80/20 Dry food - Country Cuisine" by a vet at Medivet Newcastle (The Crofts), because of stomach problems and it did help to change from a 'cheaper' pet food. My dog is a Alaskan
