County Durham and Darlington Foundation Trust and the North East Cancer Alliance have produced a patient information video for information on the Cancer Pathway - What is a 2 Week Wait referral. If you would like more details please watch the short film containing important information. Patients across Durham Dales, Easington and Sedgefield are reminded to 'Talk Before You Walk' when in need of care when your GP practice is closed.

By phoning NHS 111, patients who need to be seen urgently on the same day will be offered an appointment with a healthcare professional either at their own GP surgery or at another surgery nearby called a Primary Care Service or a hub. Receptionists may ask you a few questions to help navigate you to the best person to help you quickly.

By phoning NHS 111, patients who need to be seen urgently on the same day will be offered an appointment with a healthcare professional either at their own GP surgery or at another surgery nearby called a Primary Care Service or a hub.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 8 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
If you are ill while away from home or if you are not registered with a doctor but need to see one you can receive emergency treatment from the local GP practice for 14 days. After 14 days you will need to register as a temporary or permanent patient. You can be registered as a temporary patient for up to three months.
A Nurse Practitioner is an advanced practice nurse that helps with all aspects of patient care, responsibilities may include: Diagnosing, treating, and helping patients manage acute and chronic illnesses. Conducting physical examinations and interpreting medical history. Ordering and performing diagnostic tests and procedures.

Worst doctors. Make You Feel bad for just needing help with pain and depression. Won't listen when you ask for something and had to really push for an mri.
