Why not join our patient participation group. We have face to face meetings bi monthly and are in the process of setting up a virtual group to allow you to communicate with us via email. Patient data from GP medical records is used every day to improve health, care and services through planning and research, helping to find better treatments and improve patient care.
NHS Digital will collect, analyse, publish and share patient data to improve health and care services for everyone. The data collection will provide a comprehensive and frequent (daily) extract of patient level and linkable data from the GP system suppliers. All identifiable data items will be pseudonymised by the GP system suppliers and flow to the NHS Digital's Data Processing Services (DPS).

Your local Urgent Care Centre is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week including weekends and bank holidays. The address is University Hospital of Hartlepool, Holdforth Road, Hartlepool TS24 9AH. They will see anyone who has had a recent injury. They can bandage and stitch wounds, x-ray limbs. They can supply some medication for infections, pain and allergic type reactions.
It is important to make this initial appointment as early as possible - at least 6 weeks before you travel - as a second appointment will be required with the practice nurse to actually receive the vaccinations. These vaccines have to be ordered as they are not a stock vaccine. Your second appointment needs to be at least 2 weeks before you travel to allow the vaccines to work.
You then need an appointment with the practice nurse for a new patient check. This is to enquire about your family history, any medication you take and any other problems we should be aware of. Please note without this appointment you will not be accepted onto our list. If you change your name, move house or change telephone numbers, please let us have your correct details in writing as soon as possible.
