Maurice started his career as a Building Control Officer for Birmingham City Council progressing onto setting up his own Planning and Surveying Consultancy Practise in 1998. Maurice specialises in several areas of expertise, in particular, Party Wall Surveying Services, preparing detailed planning and building regulation drawings for submission to Local Authorities and Fire Risk Assessments for Commercial Premises.
Maurice is a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers, a Member of the Faculties of Party Wall Surveyors and also a Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers. Nathan Associates (est 1998) is an Professional Independent practise of Chartered Building Engineers and Party Wall Surveyors (Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers and Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors ) based near Stratford-Upon-Avon, Warwickshire. We provide a wide range of expert technical advice on all types of buildings from residential, commercial and industrial properties.
Maurice Nathan is a Member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors " providing awareness, advice and guidance to client's acting as the Party Wall Surveyor for either the building owner or adjoining owner". In 1997 the Government introduced party wall legislation across the whole of England & Wales in the form of the Party Wall etc. Act 1996.
Nathan Associates have the experience and knowledge in producing and handling Planning and Building control applications. We manage each project through to consent. We have good relationships with many Local Authorities Nationwide and can often enable clients to understand why a previously presented scheme is failing and how it might be helped through to approval.
