McKelvie Lloyd is an entirely independent firm of Chartered Surveyors with a strong reputation for extensive experience, knowledge and professionalism, developed over more than 35 years in practice. Providing independent, impartial advice we pride ourselves on taking time to understand every client's individual needs and delivering an effective personalised service.
McKelvie Lloyd has wide experience in dealing with residential property of almost all types and ages, from medieval buildings to brand new houses. Our understanding of different construction types and defects, coupled with extensive knowledge of the local area, enables us to provide comprehensive and pragmatic advice.
McKelvie Lloyd acts for current and prospective owner-occupiers, landlords and tenants of many different types of commercial property including shops, offices, pubs, restaurants, factories, warehouses and general business units. A detailed inspection undertaken on behalf of purchasers and prospective tenants, this type of survey provides comprehensive advice on the state of repair and maintenance requirements of a building.
For many years Chartered Surveyors have undertaken detailed inspections of properties, in order to advise on the state of repair. These were variously referred to as structural surveys, detailed surveys and full surveys. Such inspections are now known as Building Surveys. The purpose of a Building Survey is to advise, in detail, on the state of repair of the property inspected.
Valuations of residential property are carried out by our surveyors to current professional and legal guidance. Written valuation advice is provided in accordance with the most recent version of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors Global Valuation Standards, commonly referred to as the 'Red Book'.

Report
I’d just like to say what a fantastic experience I had using McKelvie Lloyd.
From the outset the service was impeccable. A wealth of no obligation knowledge was provided over the phone, upon which I knew that you were the right people to work with.
The report is very thorough and covers all aspects.
I really appreciated the phone call after the report was issued to discuss.
Hopefully work together again soon.
