Services
The St George's Hotel was opened in the spring of 1854. It was built by Isaiah Davies, who was just 24 years old. He was born in a farm on the Great Orme and inherited a pub called the King's Head (which is still in operation at the foot of the Great Orme near the tram station) when he married the owner's daughter, Anne Owen, when he was only 19 years old.
Our 4-star hotel features splendid facilities and elegant dcor in all 81 bedrooms, with staff on hand to ensure you have a smooth stay. We have many types of bedroom offering you the choice to select the perfect room for your requirements. Our dedicated Reservations Team are here to help you with all of your accommodation requirements.
Celebrate your Wedding in style at St Georges Hotel on the beautiful North Wales Coast overlooking Llandudno Bay and Great Orme. We have a wide range of beautiful function suites capable of holding civil wedding ceremonies for 10 - 200 guests and our Grade II listed Wedgwood Suite is one of the most famous rooms in North Wales.
The Terrace Restaurant, overlooking the spectacular coastal views of Llandudno Bay, has a great reputation for excellent food and interesting wines. A vibrant and sophisticated place to be seen and extremely popular with our guests and locals alike. You can be assured that there will be a variety of tantalising dishes to tempt all palates.

Very reasonable considering it's such a large and prominent hotel. Had festive afternoon treat with great mulled wine and gorgeous cranberry scones with lush clotted cream. Will be returning soon I hope and do ordinary afternoon tea. Very good deals on accommodation too.

The evening was fun. Great atmosphere but sadly the food was not great. Overcooked vegetables with the main course and the dessert was a major disappointment - a badly cooked banana with a ring of tinned pineapple. We expected more from such a nice hotel.

Myself, Kate and our 2 Guide Dogs Felix and Sparky had a wonderful time on our holiday at St George’s Hotel!!
We were really well looked after. We Received a very warm welcome and the staff were all just so helpful and friendly.
The food was amazing with so much choice and the breakfast was fantastic too!
We were given a room which had lots of room for our dogs which was also easy to navigate to.
Basically we had an amazing experience and will most definately be returning to St George’s Hotel, Llandudno

I was in Llandudno delivering a course to the Welsh Ambulance Service in the hotel. It is a lovely hotel, friendly attentive staff. The food was excellent. The conference facilities are very good and completely self contained. The bedroom was compact, it was fine as I was on my own . The hotel has an old world charm about it.

Large historic hotel on the front. Staff, decor and food is terrific, but have knocked off a star for the very firm bed and our view of the back of the hotel. Our room was smallish and our daughter (who paid for us) was offered to pay for an upgrade, but I think the B&B cost was very high to begin with, without paying more on top. It was a great experience though - but not one we could afford to repeat.

Beautiful hotel located in a perfect spot. We got a side view and could see the sea and pier which was lovely. Our room was very clean and the bathroom was amazing and spacious. Customer service on reception was good and they went out of their way to help. Breakfast was perfectly cooked and hot with a good variety to chose from. Well worth the money and would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 3 nights and the room was very nice and on the side of the Hotel. It is in a great location opposite the beach and the shops/restaurants are just behind.
Breakfast on day 1 was great but day 2 (because there were a lot of guests) it was not great at all. Day 3's was back to being great.
Staff were very polite and sociable.
All in all worth a visit

We didn't stay here but came to shelter from the cold and still enjoy the view whilst enjoying a drink and a snack. Firstly the view is great, directly onto the bay. The seats on the glazed terrace are comfy and the attentive staff catered to our every whim with agreeable good humour. The prices were very reasonable considering the view and lovely building. Whilst the food delivery was unhurried this suited us, as we wanted to enjoy the view and be comfortable at the same time. All in all I highly recommend it, it's cheaper than some of the cafes or tearooms with a better view and better service

Lovely hotel. Four star and well appointed in a central location on the front with good views should you get a beach view room. Expensive but worth it for a treat. Nice bar and restaurant with good standard food. Also food available in terrace cafe area. All staff we came across friendly and hotel had some really nice period features. Famous people have stayed here incl Bismark and Churchill. Recommended if you can afford it - be aware lots of old people stay here! Not for those that want to PARTY!
