Our practice has been looking after the eye health of Horsham and the surrounding villages since 1995, when Louise Sloan's father worked as an optometrist for the former owners. We allocate 45 minutes for every eye examination, delivering the very best advice to maximise your eye health and vision. At Louise Sloan Opticians, we use all the latest optical equipment, including the new iCare Tonometer to measure eye pressure - which means no more puff of air! Our OCT (Optical Coherence Tomographer) takes both a photograph and a 3D cross-sectional scan of the back of the eye simultaneously.

At Louise Sloan Opticians, we offer a range of daily, two-weekly, and monthly soft lenses as well as gas-permeable varieties. We have an extensive selection of contact lenses to suit individual needs, including options to correct an astigmatism, multifocal lenses, and even coloured lenses if you want to change your look.

I developed a problem with my sight during lockdown, googled it - both NHS and RNIB websites were great and I concluded it was probably nothing serious, all I needed to do was ask for a specific check at my next routine eye test. I called Louise who said my conclusions were probably right but... clearly she had concerns because she followed up twice by phone and also sent information in the post. Following her advice I contacted the eye clinic, saw them and it turns out I need laser surgery. i am about to have that and will always be grateful for Louise's diligence and consideration, particularly

Louise Sloane is absolutely amazing. I wish I could give more than five stars! I developed concerns about my eyesight during lockdown and she was prepared to see me, in this challenging time. My eye test experience with Louise was excellent. She is highly skilled, but also friendly and helpful, explaining the various test and results very clearly. I was worried about the health of my eyes, but Louise's tests (and her super scanner which proves a depth and granularity of testing unavailable in most places) provided great reassurance

I recently moved to the area and changed to Louise Sloan's. I am glad I did as the service is amazing, with delightful support staff, and Louise is a skilled and caring optician. Her attention to detail saw me buying some very good day-to-day glasses as well as some for cycling. There is no hard sell, just good quality care and customer service. Highly recommend.

Having been let down by poor service at two national-brand opticians it was time to try an independent. A colleague was already spreading the word about this friendly dispensing opticians. Decided to give them a try. I consider myself a demanding client with exacting requirements. My expectations were met, and exceeded, by Louise and her team.
