Overlooking the Bude Canal, only a two-minute walk to superb sandy beaches and with its beautiful walled gardens, the Falcon Hotel boasts one of the finest settings of any hotel in North Cornwall. Travellers have been welcomed here for more than 200 years and that timeless warm, friendly atmosphere is apparent as soon as you walk through the front door.
Our accommodation in Bude, North Cornwall, overlooks the Bude Canal and is just a two-minutes stroll from the beach. Rooms offer views of the hotel's gardens or the picturesque Bude Canal. All rooms are en-suite with iron and ironing board, direct dial telephone, coffee and tea making facilities, free wifi and Smart TV's.

Here at The Falcon we are very proud of our beautiful gardens. The walled gardens were completely landscaped in 1998 to commemorate the founding of the hotel. Carefully maintained to look their best all year round, with stylish terraces, arches and balconies, they offer an ideal place to relax in peaceful surroundings and also offer the perfect backdrop for your wedding photos.
Whether you crave the relaxed feel of our Coachman's Bar, with its open fire and wood floors; or something a little more grown up, with our Breakwater Brasserie; there is a perfect choice for everyone at the Falcon Hotel. We were looking for a champagne breakfast in the area for a special birthday, but couldn't find anything. After speaking to the Falcon, they understood what we were looking for and agreed to host us, even though they did not officially offer the service.
The spread was excellent, with continental bread, cheese and meats, plus prosecco and a full English, and with the many different dietary requirements of our group respected and catered for. In addition, our hostess Amanda was amazing; friendly, welcoming and accommodating.
Well recommended, dog friendly, and we look forward to dining here again

Really tasty meal this evening, as with all places they are understaffed but those there are very helpful and really hard working. Credit to the kitchen too as the food was not only very nice (I had the burger ) but the prawn cocktail starter priced at £10:50 is so big it would definitely do 2 people easily. The same for the smoked salmon salad , this was lovely and fresh and the amount of excellent smoked salmon was again of a shareable portion . Will definitely return

This is our go to hotel for when we need a holiday. Full of very helpful staff, comfort and good food. It is unfortunate we are in trying times at the moment, but the staff are going above and beyond to make sure our stay was 5* as it has been over the past 25 years. A particular thank you goes to Amanda, Chloe, Alan and Nicola. Hope to see you all again in

Absolutely love it here and been here twice with another stay booked in September. It's a beautiful hotel, a wonderful location. The staff feel so happy to be there and are really attentive and personable. The breakfast is magnificent I highly recommend. The dinners are really superbly creative and well thought out. Definitely a fast favourite for me and my family. The views and the location are extraordinary you are exactly in the perfect spot for exploring Bude and taking it all in. They also have a lovely secret garden to explore. Relaxing but very comfortable altogether. Really lovely rooms
