Set in the heart of North Cornwall in 230 acres of rolling hills and woodland, Ross Cobbledick designated an area of Special Landscape Value in 1992 to construct Bowood Park Golf Club. This land once formed part of a 13th century deer park owned by the Black Prince. Brian Huggett, Bob Knott and Eddie Connaughton (Advising) were taken on board to design the beautiful USGA specified Par 72 Parkland golf course as we know today.
The golf course has recently been voted in the top 100 golf courses under 50 and has been built to the highest USGA specifications resulting in excellent year-round playability. The clubhouse and hotel are both contained in one building and poses an impressive presence as you make your way through the entrance on to the driveway.
We have several different types of rooms within our hotel, to suit many different requirements. When you make an application for accommodation, you will be asked to state which room types you would ideally prefer to be accommodated in, so it is useful to understand what each type means.
