The Longcross has 14 recently refurbished elegant rooms from standard doubles to sea view to superior along with 4 refurbished suites and a woodland lodge, each with different style of en suite bathroom and complimentary luxury body products. We have a beautiful and perfectly situated conservatory style restaurant that has stunning views of the coast & can comfortably sit 60 covers a service.
Every dish is perfectly prepared & cooked fresh by our in house chef's. Located adjacent to the hotel are our Longcross Victorian Gardens, the only public gardens on the North Cornish coast, and the subject of a television feature because of their unusual aspects. The gardens remain in the original Victorian garden layout and they retain their original splendour.

Visitors often say that they have never seen a garden resembling the Long Cross and this is mainly because the gardens were constructed primarily to overcome the difficulties of the local climate.North Cornwall is England's windiest area with strong winds laden with salt even in the summer, this results in the garden receiving one hundredweight of salt per acre per year.

The hotel is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, on the edge of the attractive village of Trelights. Port Quin, a National Trust Village is just over a mile away, and the quaint village of Port Isaac lies slightly nearer in the other direction. To enjoy the rest of Cornwall we recommend Cornwall Discovery.

Wonderful room with views over the countryside to the sea. The staff made our stay perfect, Jack and Will were very professional and special mentions for Arnie who was helpful, courteous, amusing, plus Jamie who was very professional, diligent, hardworking and nothing was too much trouble. Have been extremely well looked after.

We stayed for a few days for a friends wedding. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The food at breakfast and dinner was some of the best we had down there and thankfully dinner is only available to hotel guests so you are guaranteed a table if you want it. The beds are comfortable, the rooms in the coach house are a little dated for the price, but given the demand for accommodation in Cornwall this year I cannot complain.

Great overall experience. Service was the highlight so thank you to the staff. Food was good too and consistently so. Room was one of the cheaper ones and very average but not a surprise. Overall its the decor that let's the place down. A real mishmash of styles and clashing patterns, colours and mismatched decorative objects in the communal areas that fail to make the most of the grandeur of the underlying architecture. Lots of items that looked like they'd been found and dropped in rather than chosen. Needs someone with a good design eye to spruce it all up but I heard its been sold so I guess

The Hotel and the staff were outstanding and superb. We felt at home and the staff was super friendly. Breakfast and dinner were excellent quality. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and I will definitely be back next time on the next vacation in Cornwall. Love the place and grateful for the friendly staff (especially Arnold).
