Evesham Golf Club Ltd. is delighted to announce that we have been awarded the SafeGolf mark by England Golf. What is SafeGolf? SafeGolf is a partnership of UK golf bodies committed to promoting a safe and positive environment for all those participating, working and volunteering in the sport of golf.
As part of its Health & Safety policy Evesham Golf Club has produced a Hole by Hole risk assessment for both members and visitors. This is available for review at the Club. In addition to this a summary document has been prepared highlighting general features that players should be aware of. We strongly recommend that you read this prior to play.
You can be certain of a warm welcome at Evesham Golf Club. With its beautiful course, excellent food, entertaining, social calendar and friendly atmosphere, it's easy to see why new members settle in very quickly. Evesham has a particularly active membership, with Men's, Ladies', Senior and Junior Sections representing all that is best in a private members' club.
Evesham Golf Club runs a wide range of mixed competitions and matches for golfers of all ages and abilities. The first mixed competition of the season and we were fortunate to have a mainly dry and sunny afternoon, although blustery winds. Twenty one members took part including our Lady Captain. I think everyone enjoyed the game even with the difficult conditions.
Our Junior section is organised by our Assistant Professional, Ryan Cleary, and overseen by the Head PGA Professional, Robert Steele. A number of competitions are run throughout the year, including medals, stablefords, and Junior matches. Every Saturday we hold Professional tuition for Junior golfers from 10.30am until 11.30am.
