We recognise that choosing child care is one of the most difficult decisions facing parents and carers. Primrose Hill is a privately owned Day Nursery in the lovely village of Stamford Bridge, set in a beautiful location surrounded by open fields on the Buttercrambe Estate. As you walk through the doors, you will be greeted with warmth and friendliness of our special environment.
The Nursery is owned by Claire Potter. Claire has a wealth of childcare experience including extensive Nursery Management, and is a working mother having two children of her own. The Nursery is in two separate converted farm buildings: the Barn and the Granary, both having direct access to the outdoors, encouraging free flow and independence.

Meals
Report
We aim to promote a healthy lifestyle with plenty of fresh air, exercise, and a healthy and nutritious well balanced diet encouraging both familiar and new tastes. We cater for specific dietary requirements where possible. You must ensure we are notified of any allergies. All our food is delivered fresh each week and sourced from reputable companies.
Babies Weaning
Report
Our aim is to provide as much fresh food as possible. We will puree our own fresh food from the daily menus provided. However you may like to provide baby food of your own choice, this is perfectly acceptable but please ensure it is labelled with the child's name on it. Babies bottles must be provided by you with the milk powder separately measured out in a container and the bottles must contain the correct amount of cooled boiled water.
Settling in Visits
Report
Starting nursery may feel like a whole new world to some children so before a placement commences we offer a couple of free settling in sessions at a mutually suitable time that are arranged in the week before a child starts. This ensures we have all the relevant information and a smooth transition for you and your child.
