Shambolic. I arrived to have my bloods taken, not possible due to COVID - I have to wait and return after 3 months for bloods to be taken. I could be dead by then! And during the consultation with the nurse (I was not allowed to se a Doctor) I also mentioned that I have a persistent bloody cough that i'm worried about, I was told that I would need to make another appointment to be seen for that! What a ludicrous waste of time and money. Why am I paying over £600 per month in national insurance for this utter farce. Disgusted!

For every consultation I attend it's always them finding a way to conclude my business as soon as possible and push me out. Reception is almost always awkward or rude. It's like they favor some type of customers over others, judging by the comments. Changing clinic because these guys make me feel unwanted.

I must complain in no uncertain terms regarding this issue. To be clear, my medication had been emailed to a pharmacy in in another city, since lockdown, as I have been trapped there, living with a family member, as I had been visiting them prior to lockdown (upon lockdown, I took advice and government recommendations to stay indoors with immediate effect, especially because of my diabetes putting me in a vulnerable position health-wise.)
The prescriptions for essential diabetes medication has been emailed to the pharmacy each month since then, without issue. This month, however, since it did

I can’t complain about this surgery, at times it can be abit hit and miss with the receptionist, and this was before covid. But I understand that they are stretched. The appointment booking system has changed since covid, it used to be so easy when it was all online, hopefully one day it will go back.
If I could make one suggestion, it would be to reduce the message at the beginning of the phone call before it puts you through to the receptionist. It’s 90seconds long. Very frustrating when you want to make a quick call now you can’t do it online anymore.
It’s really clean, laid out well

I've been with this surgery over 20 years, and have always had excellent service. Friendly and competent receptionists, nurses and doctors. I've had numerous physical and mental health issues over the years, and have several long term conditions now. Have always had effective, compassionate care. Dr Richards is solid gold.

I've had alot of hit and misses at this surgery, but have always had my health at first priority, I have unfortunately almost lost my life when a doctor mistaken septis shock as an anxiety attack and was suggested chocolate when I was going into a diabetic coma. However, since this I have been taken seriously at all appointments since which im gratful for. Dont listen to the reviews that say the receptionist aren't helpful or friendly. They have consistently over 4 years been super friendly and helpful

Moved to the area recently as a student and have been seeing doctors my whole life, but I am extremely impressed with the care that I receive at this practice. I have seen two brilliant doctors; Dr Gale and Dr Chauhan, and no issue is never too silly and they’re very easy to talk to. No issue having medication carried over or anything! Also the reception team are lovely and extremely efficient.
VERY impressed with this practice 😃

I have never had a negative experience at this surgery. In fact, I would honestly say this is possibly the best doctors surgery I have ever been registered with.
Their reception team are friendly and helpful. One receptionist in particular (unfortunately I don't know her name but I recognise her from the surgery's picture) is so lovely and always seems to do her best to help.
Most of all, the doctors are kind, professional and, in my opinion, thorough. Especially during my pregnancy and since my daughter was born.
I cannot fault this surgery. Thank you!

On Friday I called the surgery at 5.40pm as I’d been really suffering with a lot of pain for a few days (related to a chronic illness I have) Dr Gale called me back 20 minutes later and by 6.15 I was in the surgery being examined. In that time, she had contacted a rheumatology consultant and by half 6 I was on my way to St James’ to see a… specialist. I was out of the hospital by 7.15 with medication and feeling so wonderfully cared for. I realise this was pure luck, and I know how busy doctors work and how pushed for time they all are, but the NHS and all of its staff are absolutely

So my doctor is Dr Gale. I used to be at Lloyds next door and they were not helping me with my mental health at all. Dr Gale got recommended to me by a friend so I switched doctors and saw her to see what happens. The results were amazing! I now feel instantly better after she prescribed my medication and actually gave me a therapeutic talk. She… also recently performed a minor surgery for me which was more than fine but I felt that I needed to talk to her a few days later. She fit me into a phone call and had me down there the same down to sort the problem out. I can't thank her enough

Normally had decent treatment from this medical centre. However, the last year has been notable for a lot of errors and mistakes. Online prescription renewal led to a wrong prescription being made. I have also endured a nearly four month wait for two separate referrals, only one of which was actually made. In this time my depression has gotten… worse, I have lost my ESA and I have collapsed twice owing to the problems I've been seeking referrals for. Numerous calls to chase up what has been happening have elicited very little response. It is a shame, as this medical centre had previously

Been at this Doctors for 15 years and it's been a fantastic doctors. You knew you could 100% trust the opinion and advice they were giving you. Many of the doctors there are great. However kirkstall lane medical centre seems to be taking on new doctors who aren't fully qualified. I was offered antidepressants for being flat footed something I've… had treatment for, for a long time. Something antidepressants wouldn't do a thing for instead they would ruin my life like they have done many others, I work full time and have a child I SHOULD NOT have been recommended these, I was even agreed
