Lovely room, obviously refurbished recently. Very clean and comfortable bed. Only downsides is it was up a narrow circular staircase which was difficult with a suitcase and was cold when we arrived. Heating is electric which has a bright blue display which made sleeping difficult, didn't want to cover it since that would mean covering the radiator, quite annoying and made sleeping difficult.

Excellent, foodie cafe in picturesque Inveraray. Visited for a light lunch. Fast, friendly service - my wife asked for a glass of water on arrival and it was there in seconds. Fish sarnie was excellent with two lovely pieces of snow white haddock, dill pickles and tartare sauce plus a good helping of quality chips. My wife's goat cheese open sandwich was also excellent. Top notch bloomer bread and chilli jam that complemented the cheese rather than overwhelmed it. Great coffee and nice IPA from local brewery Fyne Ales. Would easily have been 5 stars except the drinks prices on the high side. £4

We didn't stay in the hotel but we did visit the coffee shop and it was excellent. We were tempted by the waitress to try a cake so we had the apple strudel. My partner is Belgian and they know their cakes and pastries and he said it was the best strudel he had ever eaten! It was delicious. What more can i say, try it.

What a fabulous place. Clean comfortable rooms, fantastic staff and lovely easy going nature. We enjoyed our mini break here and would totally recommend it to others.
The restaurant below the rooms is first class and provides healthy well cooked meals. Well done we would stay here again in a heartbeat.
