Had a really nice night there. Accommodation was clean and comfortable. Free WiFi was handy! Tesla destination chargers located right next to the hotel, though one of them wasn’t working. Food in the bar was great, with lots of choice for vegans - very reasonably priced too.

We stayed in a loch side apartment, it had everything you need, fully equipped kitchen, shower room and toilet downstairs bath and toilet upstairs. Our own private patio and beautiful views of Loch Awe. The food in the restaurant was very nice and freshly cooked the staff were very friendly. The main hotel was a little tired but it is an old building at the end of the day. Lovely scenery and walks, fresh eggs and cakes in a phone box down the road with a honesty box. I would definitely go here again.

Beautiful view from the bedroom and dining room.
Friendly reception staff and bar staff.
Dining experience not the best. Very long winded serving anything. Appreciate short staff but a bit of communication between staff and guests would have been appreciated.
Dinner was good but breakfast very poor. Continental but not given option to upgrade. Made to decide from a list what you wanted from it and then no opportunity to choose further items if required ( one waiter in the dining room and very difficult to get his attention. Not a great start to mornings.
Room nice apart from double bed being

Fantastic relaxing area. the lodge was spotless and had everything in it we could have wanted, the hot tub was amazing. We could not fault our stay, the receptionist was very helpful and friendly as were all the staff. it is one of the best dog friendly stays I have been to.

What a cracking little hotel in a lovely location. We stayed with friends for three nights bed and breakfast, we decided to have an evening meal each night and weren’t disappointed as the food was delicious. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were clean and well appointed.
I think they were a little short staffed ( like most businesses these days ) but Beatrice and her team worked exceedingly hard to keep us fed and watered, nothing was too much trouble and smiles never left their faces.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone.

The staff were amazing. Argyll is struggling at the moment with staffing levels, but the staff are so dedicated and courteous that patience with them is all that is needed. They will do their best to meet your needs.
The maintenance and cleanliness of the lodge and hotel room could do with a good spring clean, but given the staffing levels and the amount of work they are all given I would say that they have all done the best they could to meet with the demand.
Thanks go to Alex, Beatrice, Santos and all the other staff for making our Wedding Day so special.

Lovely location, beautiful scenery.
Very isolated but ideal for a short dog walking holiday.
Extremely dog friendly. We had a lovely room with really comfy beds.
Had two meals in the restaurant which were very good. Friendly helpful staff.
It would be nice to have a bit of help with planning trips, maybe a list of local walks, and suggested days out at reception would have been nice.

We stayed here for two nights at the beginning of August and had an amazing time. All of the hotel staff were so kind and accommodating, especially when we were running a bit late (which we often were!)
We want to say a special thank you to Craig and Bee, they did an incredible job at managing the restaurant and were always kind and attentive, even with the pressure they were under with lots of tables to serve. Food was lovely too!
We had a Loch view hotel room, and the view really was stunning, well worth paying a bit extra. The hotel was really nice, clean and comfortable and in a beautiful
