Visited 2 nights ago nothing wrong with the food as we have been many times but beware when paying for the bill.A VERY large SERVICE CHARGE was added at the bottom of the bill.(£25). Try to get a refund after paying and not seeing this in tiny writing the staff refused to refund.I wonder how many people don't ask for their reciept and have been charged without knowing. Will not be getting our custom ever again.Very unhelpful.

Building is nice and have visited before with no issues, more recently unwanted surprises with the food and unfortunately very robust about their large service charge which is sneakily added to the bill, might be a bit old fashioned but I would like to decide if I tip a restaurant, not them decide beforehand what they are getting tipped. Due to a disagreement around this and their attitude they made it a very unejoyable visit in the end.

Lovely ambience and customer service was definitely of excellent standard. We have tried several Indian restaurants locally and this was definitely special. Tasty food, plentiful mains and piping hot as it reached our table. The team that run this do a great job in helping you feel at home and we loved the story of how their name of the restaurant came about. We'll certainly be back again! Thanks

Really fine place. Very high quality food and service. Sauces are incredible. Very comfortable place and all ingredients first quality. The waiter answered every one of our questions about the menu, which we didn't know. They were all very professional. The price is not bad. I spent 30£ for some shared starters, salmon and rice and two cokes. I think it's a right price, or even cheaper, for tulhe quality and professionality I enjoyed.

This s really excellent dining in Indian/Asian Fusian (read that Thai) fashion. I thought it was a pub and drove right by, but no it is a fine restaurant manned by folks who know their way around a kitchen. It is not quite a "100 Foot Journey", but it is an interesting combination of excellent Indian, some Thai, a great bar, a charming host, thoughtful servers, Movenpick ice cream, 1oo% fresh ingredients in everything and some standard English deserts mixed with their own creatons from India.
We started with six beautifully fried Asian fish cakes with a mildly spicy/sweet dipping sauce

The snooty mehaaan - means the snooty guest in translation according to staff.
They have a large and varied thia and indian cusiune. All at a great price, good selection of wines and champagnes along with your standard spirits etc.
Good selection of starters if your wondering what thia is like is very similar to Chinese with a much better fragrances and flavour. Good selection of indian starters and mains, only dissapiontmenr is no homemade puds alll bought in from either fridge or freezer to plate. The restaurant itself is a split level with the main restaurant on the lower level past the bar
