At some point after your child turn 2, a written summary of how your child is progressing against the three prime areas of learning will be completed. This check highlights areas where your child is progressing well and anywhere they may need some extra help or support. Our Nursery Managers and practitioners are more than happy yo talk with parents in relation to the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Some 2-year-olds will be eligible to get an entitlement of up to 15 hours a week for 38 weeks of the year - very similar to the three school terms. The table below highlights when you can start claiming the Universal Entitlement for your child. Funding can only be accessed the term after your child turns 2.
We provide healthy nutritious food throughout the day and we encourage children to try new foods. We are actively celebrating healthy, wholesome approaches to eating as well as raising awareness of diversity. Our suppliers Cupcakes Caterers deliver children's dinners fresh on a day to day basis, providing a wide variety of locally sourced foods, including fruit and vegetables.
We have an embedded system to ensure that a key person is allocated to every child. This key person completes regularly observations that are then used to inform the child's planning around their individual needs and interests. These include interests from home and interests at nursery. The key person completes assessments on every child to identify any support that may be required.
You can be confident in leaving your child in the safe hands of our established holiday clubs which are run using the philosophy of learning through play in a stimulating environment that follows throughout. Activities are planned to meet both developmental and individual needs of the child and include arts & crafts, sport, music, stories, reading, physical play and organised trips out.

Positive: Reliability, Responsiveness
Very apprehensive about leaving my child after covid. All the staff are really friendly and reassuring and they have implemented strict guidelines regarding covid which made me feel at ease when I went back to work. I am happy my daughter has settled in so well.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!! Absolutely disgusted by this nursery. My son has been attending for a year and this summer holiday I changed his days to fit around work, as confirmed by the manager Jacqui. I was then told, after the fact at the end of the month, that I will be billed for a full 5 days when he was only attending 2 for the majority of the summer. I questioned this on the Monday and told the staff not to claim his 15 hours until I had spoken to the manager, I asked she called me on the Tuesday, she did not. I was told by a nursery nurse Crystal she won’t call me and if I want to speak to
