Our Hedgehogs are non-mobile babies. Their room is presented to help encourage physical development, with a variety of activities including the outdoors, sensory play, a black and white area and natural resources. We closely follow each child's routine from home. Our Squirrels are more mobile babies, and this room encourages exploration and investigation with focus on the 'Prime' areas of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
We have a dedicated sleep-room which allows the children a tranquil and calm place to rest. Foxes are based across two rooms, which helps us offer the '7 Areas of Learning'. The nursery routine becomes more structured and helps with the upward move into Owls. Foxes and Owls are based upstairs in our Over 2's Unit, with set free flow times between the two.

Services
Only children who are symptom free or have completed the required isolation period should attend the nursery. Parents will be informed that symptom-showing children should remain at home. Staggered arrivals and pick-ups may be suggested to parents in an attempt to support social distancing guidelines.
Overall, they are dedicated to providing the very best care and education for all children. There are a wide range of interesting natural resources available for children, which staff locate well, so children can develop their ideas independently and build on new ones. Children's progress and development are regularly shared with parents.
We take great pride in serving meals and snacks to our children that are wholesome, filling, and most important of all, tasty! Our food menu changes weekly on a 3-week cycle using seasonal ingredients where possible, with different menus for Autumn/Winter, and Spring/Summer. A full menu is available for parents to view upon request.
Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Forest Friends. We couldn't ask for better people to look after our daughter for us. Summer has so much fun with all the staff and other children, which sometimes makes it hard to take her home in the evening because she doesn't want to leave them all.

Prior to attending Forest Friends, our 3 year old had not been cared for by anyone outside our family. I was very nervous about this big step but staff at Forest Friends were so welcoming and reassuring. We were able to have a tour of the nursery with our daughter and she was then able to gradually build up attending. Staff communication, particularly through the app was very helpful and reassuring. When she had a period where she didn't want to leave me, staff supported both of us through this. I always knew she was having healthy meals whilst there and that all her needs were being met. My daughter spent two years at Forest Friends, and she had the absolute best time. It is easy to communicate with the nursery, they provide advice if we need it, all staff is extremely professional while very attentive with children, the breadth and quality of meals is great… I could go on, but it would all go in the same direction: Forest Friends is the best choice for a nursery in Coventry!

My daughter has attended this nursery since she was 3 months old. I dreaded having to leave her at such a young age, but the staff made it so easy for me. Updates including pictures and videos through out the day made sure we never missed out. The education my daughter has received has been amazing, she has excelled in every milestone and has surpassed the level for her age group. Ella absolutely loves this nursery and looking back I know this was the best decision we ever made. I highly recommend this nursery and will be sad when Ella leaves next year

The ambiance, the warmth, the reception, the environment, the staff are well trained, the atmosphere speaks volume, kids can never get bored for a moment here. There are alot to for kids to learn here. Forest Friends Day Nursery is really a family to be part of. In my short time here, I ask myself, where have we been all these while? I highly recommend.

My son started in August and he's settling great, i can already see the difference in him. I was extremely nervous about him starting nursery but the App that Forest Friends use as put you right at ease. i can check in on his daily progress, get pictures and message for updates any time.

My Daughter Mia started at Forest Friends Day Nursery in July 2018 aged 3 years.
I would highly recommend Forest Friends Day Nursery to anyone looking for high standards of care for their child/children.
All the staff work extremely hard and are kind and caring and deliver quality care every day.
Mia has developed so much since starting at Forest Friends.
Mia's confidence has grown and she has learned so much educationally and socially.
Mia has absolutely loved her time here and has made lots of lovely friends and has a great relationship with the staff.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone at Forest Friends. We couldn't ask for better people to look after our daughter for us. Summer has so much fun with all the staff and other children, which sometimes makes it hard to take her home in the evening because she doesn't want to leave them all. Summer's favourite time at nursery is dinner time, she's always looking forward to the treats that Chef Codie has on the menu and always having seconds.
