With a child centric approach to learning, a huge, secure, outdoor space, well-resourced classrooms and an excellent, 100% qualified staff team, Goslings is the perfect space for you little one to grow, develop, play and gain independence. Children make fast progress towards the EYFS, learning through self-chosen, child-initiated play.
Welfare and happiness comes first, as a happy child will always learn. Our teaching techniques are based on the Vygotskian approach. Offering wide variety to children over their play choices, they are guided into the zone of proximal development, then staff sensitively "scaffold" their learning by posing challenges, open-ended questions and provocations, to extend children's critical thinking.

Children are grouped according to age and ability. Smaller group activities are offered to help meet individual children's needs within their class too. Our ethos is to educate children, using their interests, through self-chosen, child-initiated play. If children choose their play, they will engage in the learning process efficiently.
