We are a small and friendly community-based pre-school with highly qualified staff, an excellent reputation and a good Ofsted record. We provide high quality care and education for pre-school aged (2-4) children in a fun, stimulating and caring environment. We have a wide catchment and previously have accepted children from Matlock Bath, Matlock, Cromford, Wirksworth, Darley Dale, Bonsall, Starkholmes, Brassington and surrounding areas.

Services
We are a not-for-profit, charitable organisation which has been established for over forty years. We have a dedicated team of staff and committee members whose interest in your child's education and care, together with an enthusiastic and determined approach to the changing needs of our community, means we are able to provide a fantastic learning environment for your child.
Our activities are based around a planned theme for each term. Each theme is explored, and where relevant we may link these to the local community, for example by visiting the library, shops or local park. We also take trips on the cable cars to the Heights of Abraham, thanks to the kind support of the owners there!
To provide high quality care and education for pre-school aged children in a stimulating and caring environment. To provide a safe environment where children can develop and learn through exploration and play. To encourage independence in children with a focus on developing good self-esteem. To work in partnership with parents and carers in order to support and enhance the development of their children.
Children above 3 years requiring additional sessions: 12.33 per session (3 hours) in line with government funding. Extended Hours for all Ages: 4 per half hour. These charges will be over and above your funding allowance. Funded places are also available for children under 2 years - please ask us for details.
