We are registered providers of childcare and education for children and are inspected by OFSTED. We are open for 38 weeks of the year. The pre-school hours are Monday to Friday between 9.00am and 3.00pm. This has three parts: A morning session between 9.00 and 11.30am; a lunch club between 11.30am and 12.30pm; and an afternoon session between 12.30pm and 3.00pm.
We also run a breakfast club from 8.00am that is available to both our pre-school children, once they become 3 years old, and also to pupils of Greystones Primary school. A healthy breakfast is provided by staff. We welcome inclusion of all children in our group regardless of ability / disability / race.

Services
We have a large indoor pre-school room which is divided into areas of continuous provision: a creative workshop, a sand/water area, a construction / small world's area, a tactile area, a discovery area, a book corner, a role play area and a mark making area. Each area is designed to promote learning and development across the Early years foundation stage.
We aim to ensure that all sections of our community have access to the setting through open, fair and clearly communicated procedures. If you are interested in looking around the setting and talking to staff then please ring or e-mail to arrange a convenient time slot. We offer support in any way we can to parents who may have difficulty with written English.
This was introduced in 2008 and revised in 2012 and 2017. It provides all early year's settings with a legal framework and with further guidance to best practice. There are 7 areas of learning and development which we use to guide us when planning activities and which provide a structure for assessment.
Greystones Pre-school runs a breakfast club for both pre-school children and for children age 4-11 that attend Greystones primary school. The breakfast club is open from 8am to 8.45am for school age children and from 8am to 9.15am for pre-school children. The club has 40 places: these places need to booked in advance with a commitment for half a term.
