Shepley Pre-school has been established in the community for over 20 years after parents founded it in 1992. We deliver high quality, early year's education and Day Care for children aged 1 to 10 years old. We are a registered Charity, which is run by a qualified team of experienced childcare practitioners who work alongside our parent led committee.
We offer flexible full and part time day care to suit your needs. This high-quality provision which Ofsted recently described as: "A vibrant and lively environment for young children, where children make rapid progress from their starting points because they are given very high levels of support by practitioners who have a high expectations of each child."

Founded by parents in 1992, Shepley Pre-school has been established in the community for over 20 years. Our close links with local First Schools, Shepley First, Birdsedge, Upper & Lower Cumberworth Stocksmoor and Thurstonland help to support a smooth school transition for you and your child.

We welcome children from schools, nurseries and other childcare settings to our Holiday Club. Holiday Club is suitable for children from 1-10 years old, (up until the end of year 5). For children who have not attended our setting before, parents/carers are kindly requested to complete paperwork, prior to a booking being confirmed.
Parents are asked not to bring into the setting any child who has been vomiting or had diarrhoea until at least 48 hours has elapsed since the last attack. Our policy is also to exclude children on antibiotics for the first 48 hours of the course. Our Out of School Club and Holiday Club are open to 2-10 year olds who already attend the setting.
