Little Ozzies Community Nursery

Each child will be encouraged to progress, learn and develop a sense of self with the aid of play activities and equipment made available to them. In planning the curriculum we will work towards incorporating positive opportunities for all children reflecting diversity and addressing issues of race, culture, gender and disability offering each child equal access to support, development and learning.

We are based within SS Osmund and Andrew RCPS and have four large areas in which we provide stimulating activities. We are proud to have 6 experienced and qualified members of staff, most of which are also teaching assistants within the school. We believe the children's time with us should be relaxing as-well as fun, so we provide a range of activities to suit children of all ages.

Our Holiday club is run by Abbie who is based at Little Ozzies Nursery during term time. The holiday club has the use of the nursery setting, school hall and after school club room, which is situated within school, to help provide a wide range of activities to entertain the children. At Ozzies Fun Club we offer the opportunity for children to go out on trips at an extra cost during our Holiday Clubs.

Archie has settled into nursery really well, we are very happy with the care given by Little Ozzies. The staff are very supportive and reassuring, making my return to work that little bit easier! Thank you so much for all the wonderful experiences that you have shared with Henry this year. We are thrilled with his progress and how happy he is at nursery!

Excellent attention is given to children's emerging language skills. Staff consistently model language effectively and provide a running commentary, repeating vocabulary and extending sentences. This supports children in becoming skilful communicators who are able to articulate their ideas, thoughts and feelings.
