Our rooms are well resourced with age appropriate resources and furnishings to compliment the education and care provided by our team. Our aim is to create a home away from home for your baby where they can grow and develop in a safe and stimulating environment. Parents and children are warmly welcomed into the Baby Room by our fully qualified and experienced baby room team.
Learning happens everywhere! That's why we love to get our children into the local environment to experience the world around them. Our trips are carefully planned to give meaning, relevance and context to the knowledge children gain whilst in nursery. We plan a range of trips every year from the Zoo to airport visits.
At Heaton house mealtimes are not just an opportunity for nutritious well-balanced meals but a chance to explore and understand how food is grown and made. Mealtimes allow our children to socialise and communicate with their friends and to build independence skills. We encourage the children to assist in the food preparation process by providing age appropriate cooking to build on both their knowledge of food but also the process of cooking.
