In an emergency please call 999. Established since 1987, the Watling Vale Medical Centre has been serving the Milton Keynes community health needs for over 25 years. We are a busy Practice consisting of six GPs and three Practice Nurses with district nurses, health visitor and midwife service all of whom work for the benefit of the patients.

Two proofs of address and proof of identification are required, for details please see 'New Patient Registration Guidelines' below. You can only register with the Watling Vale Medical Centre if you live in one of these areas.

The surgery has lost its good communication skills after this pandemic. You are either stuck in online booking system and after filling exhausting online form, you May get one call from someone and if u miss that call or your phone diverts call to voice call, there’s is no number to call back.
The rubbish online system is a way to protect GP from seeing patients.
If you take the risk of calling GP surgery, you can be left waiting for upto 20 mins on position 1 of que and still no chance of anyone picking up phone.
Unfortunately, this is not the surgery I knew.

I Had to phone 999 4 times to get seen after a worrying health condition as I could not get to see a Doctor face to face. This is an unacceptable. When will this practice learn there is more to health than covid 19 and jabbing people with vaccines. How many people are dying through missed diagnosis!. How can you properly access all health condition over the phone. This is why our hospitals are overwhelmed as people have nowhere else to turn! The Doctor's in this practice need to do their job and start seeing patients again!

Generally poor service over a 6 year period. Inefficient front desk, unpredictable call back response, tendency to take quite a tone if questioned in any way, and questionable training over all. Medical staff was mixed as one would expect, but I can't say that any doctor impressed - out of touch, reluctance to make referrals and/or lack of broad knowledge needed to make them, little continuity from visit to visit.

I would like to leave a very positive feedback to my amazing midwife Vickie Kilbey ❤️ she's an angel! She's very positive, very friendly, kind lady ❤️ would love her to be my midwife for all of my pregnancy. She have so much knowledge, and she's very very nice with her patients ❤️

Nurses are so lovely and DR Quartey is my favourite doctor , very friendly and has time for his patients . Been with the practice over 30 years now . Receptionist can vary from friendly ladies to attitude if you question anything , but the nice ones out way the awkward ones . Would of given a 5 star rating if everyone’s helpfulness was like the nurses and Dr Quartey .

I can contact my grandparents who live in a developing country much more easily than the GP here. The receptionists are extremely poor. No voicemail service, I can’t even just let the phone ring. Actively having to call every single time just to get a “user is busy” is extremely frustrating.

Rang to get repeat prescription for my son due to the fact couldn’t go down to drop off due to isolating, was told by receptionist to do it on line .. went on line and done it .. called back 3 days later to check it went through due to not hearing anything, was on hold for 50 minutes and then gave up. Was always so good but not anymore, such a shame because doctors are good when you can get to see them .

Absolutely brilliant service from the nurses I have seen recently. They have been really speedy and friendly when I have needed blood tests and swabs.
The practise have worked really hard at maintains a good service at a really difficult time.

Takes forever to answer the phone or drops off line after 20mins off waiting. Doctors dont tempted to call back (was waiting for call from 10am till 6:30pm and nothing!)- no clue if receptionist passes information how bad you are. Calling at 8:20am its says they are closes when supposed to open from 8am. Dont get me wrong some off the doctors and nurses are amazing and very good. But in this instance im very unhappy!
