At Betavet we strongly believe in protecting your pets against infectious and life-threatening diseases. We vaccinate dogs and cats, from the puppy and kitten stage, and right through their adult lives with yearly boosters.

We also vaccinate rabbits against serious disease. On every visit your pet will have a complete health check and the vet will advise on flea and worming treatments. Our vet's daily surgery can be routine such as neutering and removing lumps, to specialist surgical work - orthopaedics, repairing simple fractures, anterior cruciates, and also specialised ear surgery.

Cat Friendly Clinic Report

Following the refurbishment of Betavet Veterinary Centre in 2016 the practice became much busier. We noticed that some cats appeared to suffer from anxiety when there were noisy dogs present in the waiting room, especially those that came from cat only households. Fortunately another property on Bank Street became available and we were able to establish a small dedicated cat only clinic.

I have been with this surgery for many many years, always lovely,caring staff.I have now had to move south but I can truthfully say I miss you all and so farewell my trusted friends from patsy and I take care and love to you all

Thank you for all of the kindness and sensitivity that you have shared with us and our precious dog, Lucy. She was the sunshine in our lives for 14 yrs and 8 months. Sadly now at peace. Bill and all of the staff at Betavet were wonderful to us and gave our Lucy the highest standard of care throughut her life. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts ♥️🐾

Fantastic vets. Helped with my 2 cats. One had unusual insides for spaying. Extra operation needed but price was more than fair and always there to explain and aftercare by phone.

My cat was listless after a cat fight, he was thoroughly examined by the vet all 3 times I had to take him in. The vet explained everything she was doing and why clearly. She gave sound advice and treatment. The cost was significantly cheaper than my last vet in Stirling. Very happy with all treatment and my cat has fully recovered.
