Established in 2006, Pets Friends took over from an existing clinic and has developed into the friendly, hi-tech practice that is here today. The clinic includes a fully equipped consulting room, operating theatre and dedicated prep area with x-ray and ultrasound machines, blood testing equipment and other diagnostic and clinical equipment.
Animals are cared for in warm and cosy surroundings with separate rehabilitation wards to ensure that dogs and cats can recuperate in peace and in a stress-free environment. A few years ago Pets Friends started a grooming service and we have subsequently re-fitted an area of the practice to accommodate a grooming salon.

Services
Pets Friends Veterinary Clinic is a family-run small animal veterinary clinic situated conveniently just off the main road running through Stenhousemuir and Larbert. The practice was established in 2006 by Veterinary Surgeon, David Charity and employs two full time and one part time nurse and an administrator.
It may be necessary for your pet to be prescribed long-term medication, in such cases we operate a repeat prescription service where the Vet will authorise a repeat prescription of the medication once the animal has been fully examined. The repeat prescription will run for a period of time depending on the condition, and medication can be ordered through reception until another check-up is needed.
Visit our friendly and spacious waiting room and reception area to make an appointment, discuss a healthcare issue with the nurse on duty or check in a pet for a grooming or vet appointment. You can also pick up a magazine or have a look at our pet retail area while you await your appointment. The wide range of diagnostic equipment, blood testing, x-ray and ultrasound machines helps us to investigate and treat your pet's healthcare problem.
If you need veterinary assistance outside normal consulting hours our out of hours provider is Vets ER, a dedicated provider of out of hours emergency veterinary care. Vets ER is based at Grahams Road Veterinary Clinic, Falkirk, FK2 7DJ on Monday to Friday nights from 6.30pm onwards and throughout the weekend from midday on Saturday.
