This morning we picked Jezza up from Robroyd. He was the giddiest dog alive! We had a great holiday - and so did he! It was lovely to see how happy he was to see Dawn and Julie too; giving them lots of love and kisses! Thank you to everyone who has looked after Jez so well; he's enjoyed lots of fuss, attention and treats!
I'm sure he'll be demanding biscuits and sausages at home now too! We've really appreciated the updates, which were very reassuring, as it's the first time we've ever kennelled a dog. Now, he's back to sitting on his Dad's shoulder and burying things in his favourite beanbag. I took 4 of 5 of my precious babies and our 3 legged cat to have a holiday with Dawn and her family.

I can't thank the lovely ladies here enough! They take such good care of Roxy when she stays in the kennels! She always comes back such a happy doggy! I was so nervous of boarding her as she has only ever stayed with family, but she loves it and always has a waggy tail when we arrive and she sees the ladies!
Best Dog/Cat holiday home for your extended family members, only people I would trust with my dogs. Looked after in the best possible way, and will also tailor to your needs! Can't rate this place enough 5 from me every time! Keep up the great work guys/gals my new addition will be visiting as soon as I can get away!

We have used Robroyd Cattery a few times now and have a brilliant experience every single time. Dawn, who runs the cattery is very chatty and immediately puts you at ease. The love and care she gives to the cats is plain to see. We received a few pictures while we were away showing our little cat having a great time whilst on his little holiday.
Me and my partner have discussed this and we wouldn't leave him with anyone else. The prices are good and the spaces provided for each of the cats is more than sufficient with long windows so that they can watch the world go by and cat towers to keep them

I was really nervous about leaving our cats when we went away as we'd never left them before & they are both indoor cats so hadn't ever stayed anywhere other then our home. We've now left them numerous times at RR and wouldn't leave them anywhere else, they love going and staying & Dawn is great and always provides us with updates and they get properly spoiled! A lovely place for them to go and would recommend to anyone!

Our dogs came from kennels at Sheffield Greyhound Trust over 5 years ago and have not been in kennels since.
Based on the 5 star reviews of the business on Google and reviews and photographs on their Facebook page they seemed the ideal place to keep our dogs safe for a week so I contacted them to book. They were very nice and friendly on the phone and by text so I felt quite confident.
I asked to visit the kennels with the dogs a couple of weeks prior to our holiday but was told they weren't accepting visitors but I was given a time of 11am on a Friday to come but I was working so couldn't make

Lexie is a 15 year old ‘princess’ that has been going to Robroyd for 6 years, whenever we’ve been on holiday, often for extended periods. I have no hesitation in recommending Robroyd. The care given is professional and diligent, but more importantly loving. Each animal is treated as an individual and if there is a health problem they contact the owner straight away. Dawn and Julie are always ready to ‘go the extra mile’ and we’ve always been delighted with their care.

Our Staffie rescue George was very well looked after during his recent stay at Rob Royd Kennels. He's quite young - three - and very bonded with us, so we were a little worried about him settling. We were also worried about his attitude to kennels after spending time in rescue kennels. However, Dawn and Julie put our fears to rest. He was obviously well-fed and looked after - we have heard about the sausage and custard cream treats! They were very friendly and professional and were totally understanding about him liking his own blanket and toy. Thank you very much, we will be booking again.

Our cats love to go to their home away from home! Dawn and Julie show genuine love and affection to our fur babies! We had the difficult conversation decision to make on whether we cancel our holiday after one of them had major surgery, but we needn't have worried! We left vet and NOK details and Dawn organised their home so there was no jumping! And we had regular messages, videos and photos to reassure us! They're the best! We’ve been taking our dog to Robroyds kennels for years now and I just need to say how amazing they are - it’s the only kennels our dog has come out of and you can tell he’s been looked after well, they tailor the dogs day around their needs - nothing is too much trouble! They treat the dogs as if they were their own and I would never leave him with anyone else now - I would definitely recommend! Professional and friendly.

I have bordered with Robroyd for over 20 years and I can honestly say that I have never been to a better place for my dog (and cats previously) They are the most caring ladies that look after my "family member"

Thank you so much to the lovely staff at Robroyd for looking after my dog Blue! It was Blues first stay at a kennels and we knew he would be nervous but with the amazing staffs persistence Blue finally came round and ended up feeling lots more comfortable during his stay! The staff didn’t mind me bugging them ringing to see how he was getting on and they text regularly with updates too. Outstanding service and Blue will definitely be back hopefully it helps him gain more confidence too which is always a benefit! Cannot recommend enough!
