At a time when the NHS is facing challenges from increasing levels of chronic illness, a lack of funding and an often over-stretched workforce, yoga in the NHS provides a non-invasive, cost-effective, easy to use solution that can help address these important issues.
Numerous studies have consistently demonstrated the preventative and curative benefits of yoga on a variety of mental health and physical conditions, helping to improve the lives and wellbeing of people of all ages, and from all walks of life. However, considering the challenges of funding a public health system, yoga not only has to demonstrate its efficacy as form of treatment, but it also has to be an economically viable solution.

I have completed two short courses on trauma skills with Minded - both have been delivered with exceptional professionalism and quality. I am due to begin a yoga therapy training with Minded in April 2022, and so far the communication and organisation has been highly efficient. I can't wait to begin!

I am a student with Minded, studying Yoga Therapy Diploma. The course is rich with detailed content of evidence based scientific research supporting the efficacy of Yoga as a quantifiable valuable intervention to many of the non communicable diseases we face as a society today. There are many elements that are both extremely detailed, fascinating and challenging. The course is an intelligently interwoven tapestry of Yogic philosophy, physiology and psychology. Heather and her team are passionate compassionate experts in their individual fields, collectively an amazing team. I feel supported in

I am part of the 2021-2023 cohort on The Minded's Yoga Therapy Diploma and I am always so proud to be able to say that, that I am learning from a leading institute in the growing field of Yoga Therapy. I had high expectations upon joining the course earlier this year but so far the course has managed to exceed my expectations, delivering the highest standard of academic and professional training I have ever received. The Minded institute has a team of experts in their fields and manages to remain at the forefront of growing research and developments in YT. The course is rigorous, but so worth it

I am training to be a yoga therapist with the Minded Institute. Thus far I have found the course to be rich with valuable, evidence based therapeutic interventions AND yoga philosophy; this course has science and soul. Further, I have found all the tutors to be approachable and knowledgable; passionate and kind. I am finding learning with The Minded Institute both a stimulating challenge and a joy. Consequently, I highly recommend!

The morning breath practices that the Minded Institute offer have been really transformational. As well as being a great way to relax, connect and get grounded, they're also a place to learn about breath work and understand the ways that breath can influence mental health and wellbeing. Thank you so much for offering these!

I have attended a number of trainings with The Minded Institute, and am a current student on their 580 Hour Yoga Therapy course. The course is a wealth of knowledge and incredibly detailed, provided by an engaging, qualified and compassionate teaching team. The course is rigorous and evidence based, whilst appropriately honouring Yoga’s routes, and provides a wealth of rationale for the application of Yoga practises to a range of conditions, all whilst developing and challenging our skill set to become Yoga Therapists

I'm currently studying to be a Yoga Therapist with The Minded Institute. Heather and her team are so professional, approachable and knowledgeable. Each module is so comprehensive covering different disease areas, physiology, anatomy, yogic philosophy, psychology and practical application of all that's taught - backed up by masses of research! TMI have adapted brilliantly to having to teach online and are always quick to answer queries and support our studying and personal development.

The Minded Institute run exceptional, high quality yoga therapy training courses. I have first hand experience of dealing with all of the teachers at the Minded Institute and have only ever been impressed by their commitment to the students and their expertise within their specialist areas. The level of care given in supporting students during their training (whether its a long or a short course) is exceptional. The Minded Institute founder - Heather Mason - has a passion for delivering high quality teachings and course content, and her approach is to back up the use of therapeutic yoga with scientific
