Early Birds & Night Owls
At our pre-schools we treat each child as an individual in terms of his/her needs and we aim to extend their experience and imaginative understanding by encouraging them to participate in a wide range of activities. We stress the importance of self respect and a respectful and caring attitude towards our environment and others.

We strive to achieve a high degree of independence and adaptability in our children so that they can become effective, contented and successful in all they undertake. A tasty breakfast is the most important meal of the day and we believe a good breakfast has a positive effect on Children's concentration and performance throughout the day.
Services
We provide a wide and varied breakfast selection to try and accommodate to all tastes.

Children are encouraged to serve their own breakfast and pour their own drinks, although the staff are on hand to provide help to those that need it and they will also ensure that all children do eat a healthy and nutritious breakfast before they start their school day, we do also encourage our older children to help the younger children as we feel this is character building for all.
Within the past 18 years we have grown our provision to offer our services to many more schools. Our Night Owls settings are fun and exciting, where children are encouraged to self choose their activities with the support of the staff. Staff will also set up invitations and provocations based on the interests all of the children who attend.
We take children from the age of 2 years to rising 5's at all of our pre-schools and we follow the framework of the Early Years Foundation Stage in believing that children learn by playing and exploring, being active and through creative and critical thinking which takes place indoors and outdoors.
Forest School is an inspirational process that offers all learners regular opportunities to achieve and develop confidence and self-esteem through hands on learning experiences in a woodland or natural environment with trees. Forest School is a specialised learning approach that sits within and compliments the wider context of outdoor and woodland education.
At all of our pre-school settings we now follow 'The Curiosity Approach' way of learning. This isn't a drip fed educational approach, it is a way of allowing children the time and space to be curious and inquisitive. Adult initiated activities are offered to children in a way that allows freedom and ownership over their learning.

My 3 year old attends Little Ladybirds at the Northgate setting and started September this year. He and I both love it. He previously attended another local daycare and I had to peel him off me everyday as he never wanted to go. Now he’s pressuring me to leave the house or we might be late! The quality of care and commitment is unbelievable, they don’t just take time to get to know the children but the parents too - we are all greeted by name every day. It seems a small thing but it’s just another sign that they’ve taken a real interest in the children's lives. They are all passionate about

Our daughter attends Early Birds and Night Owls at Northgate Primary School since the age of 3, she is unbelievable happy at the nursery.
The staff are positive, passionate and caring.
There is always a great atmosphere at the nursery, I would definitively recommend the nursery to other parents.
