GP practices are open and continue to provide services as they have done throughout the pandemic. This means that for patients, their GP practice is open and providing GP services, with face to face appointments available to those who need them. Any patient who is asked to come into the Practice for a Face to Face consultation with a GP or a Nurse MUST wear a face covering.

Services
We regard ourselves as a modern, forward thinking and friendly practice at the heart of the South Shore Community of Blackpool which puts patient welfare at the heart of all we do. We keep abreast of the many exciting developments in the investigation of medical problems and their treatments. We remain committed to the ideals of traditional family medicine, namely a holistic approach with continuity of care.
Patients who suffer from the above conditions should be reviewed regularly. Clinics are held by Nurse Sarah in conjunction with the doctors and are by appointment only. All female patients between 25 and 65 are advised to have regular smear tests every three years for 25-49 and every five years 50-64.
For all urgent appointments, we ask that you undertake a symptom assessment through DoctorLink. The symptom assessment will ask you a number of questions to help to identify your problem. The outcome of your assessment will direct you to the right treatment, whether emergency care, your GP, nurse or self-care.
Information in patient records is important for medical research to develop new treatments and test the safety of medicines. This practice supports medical research by sending some of the information from patient records to the Clinical Practice Research Datalink (CPRD). CPRD is a Government organisation that provides anonymised patient data for research to improve patient and public health.
Under the Health and social Care Act 2008 (The Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 Part 4), the registering body (Arnold Medical Centre) is required to provide to the Care Quality Commission a statement of purpose. The Practice is located in the south Blackpool area and is open to all patients living within our practice boundary.

Wasn't allowed inside , was told over an intercom to " hang about around the bins at the back and someone will let you in up some stairs and through a back door " this was on a freezing cold early morning appointment with the nurse , I also struggle with stairs !, was told I might have to wait as the nurse was with another patient.
