Olney Nursery was opened in 1996 by Sara-Lou Knightbridge and is situated in the centre of the picturesque market town of Olney. The Church Hall provides a bright, very spacious and stimulating learning environment for children aged from 2 years 9 months to 5 years. Our aim is to give your child a happy, fun and secure nursery experience.
Olney Nursery encourages learning through play but we also believe in teaching structured educational activities to support learning in the early years. We offer a happy learning environment where your child will be taught by a primary school teacher and our staff members who are all fully qualified early years practitioners.

Services
We are a small friendly Nursery and offer parents and children a big welcome. With a maximum of only 24 children each day, every child attending Olney Nursery has a key-person who has the time to take a special interest and develop a close relationship with you and your child. Each day fun, structured educational and creative activities are planned in advance which keep the children busy, happy and purposeful as they learn.
I opened Olney Nursery in 1996 after teaching in primary schools in both Milton Keynes and Northampton. It was a natural professional progression to teach Early Years as, as a primary school teacher I had seen first hand the importance of giving young children an excellent, solid foundation as a starting point for their educational journey.
Fun is the order of the day and combined with our structured sessions it ensures your child will be taught the foundations they will need for lifelong learning. The children enjoy completing activities in their workbooks, learning their number and letters, pencil control and learning to read. They love sharing their achievements at the end of the day with their parents.
Our daily routines are flexible so that they can be tailored around making the most of the learning opportunities for the children attending Olney Nursery on any particular day. In each time frame period all the staff members have a specific and different learning and teaching objective for the children attending Olney Nursery.
