Services
Located on a farm at the edge of the village of North Crawley, Wellies Day Nursery is in a converted & extended Farm Cottage. There are rooms dedicated to the care of children, along with Kitchen, Office, Laundry, Reception & Parents Room, Children's Bathrooms, Sluice/Nappy changing & Staff Room.
We have 7 rooms dedicated to your child's care to ensure we devote the correct staffing ratios for children in different age groups, from the baby room through to Paddington room.When your child reaches Super Ted's Pre school room they will be preparing for "big school" and looking forward to growing up without us, although we hope they don't forget us.

Helen has a massive amount of childcare experience to share with you. Having trained at the prestigious Norland Nursery Training College in 1982 (www.norland.co.uk). Helen began her childcare career in 1984 as a Nanny - during which she cared for children of Royalty & Celebrities. In 1989, after a period of working in a Day Care Setting - Helen had the opportunity to set up her own Nursery & so Wellies Day Nursery was born.
We accept term time only bookings - 39 weeks per year, however the minimum sessions are 3 school days or full days. Any combination of sessions are possible, from as little as 1 session per week to full time -contact us to discuss your preference. Wellies will be closed for the 4 days after the late May Bank Holiday - coinciding with half term for local schools.
We are delighted to have won the award for Best Marketing Campaign at the Business Excellence Forum in Brighton 2014. We were also very pleased to be Finalists in the Environmentally Friendly Award. In 2011 at the Action Coach Client Business Awards we won Central Midlands Best Business of the Year and Business of the Year.
Always ensure that the nursery you choose is registered with Ofsted. The registration certificate will be displayed along with a current certificate of insurance. You may ask to see copies of the recent Ofsted report - highlighting the quality of nursery education and care and the appropriateness of the equipment and facilities.

This is an outstanding nursery where my nearly 4 year old daughter has received top quality care . The manager knows every child and family and takes it upon herself to go above and beyond. The staff treat the children as if their own. I am always well informed about my child's progress and the communication is very good. I would not hesitate about recommending this nursery to anyone who wants to see their child flourish and reach their full potential. I and my daughter will be very sad to leave this summer but Wellies have prepared my little one so well for the next step of primary school especially

We moved our 3 year old to Wellies as he hadn't settled at another nursery. As soon as we looked around we could see what a great place it would be. The activities and equipment available to the children is fantastic. Within just a couple of days we saw such a change in our son. He was so happy to go in and talkative when he came out of all the wonderful things he had done during the day. The staff are all superb and the pride they have in their work is clear to see. They create a caring environment for the children while nurturing their development to be the best they can.

From the first moment we walk through the door at Wellies, we just knew it was the right place for our family and we weren't wrong. Both our children have attended, one has a few more years to go. We can't praise Wellies enough or fault the care they give to all the children in there care, you feel part of the family.
The facilities are amazing, with a massive out door space that the kids love using. You can see the reinvestment back into the nursery and the continuous improvements.
