Little Oaks has a securely fenced double plot allotment that we access from the playing field. Little Oaks Community Nursery has been a registered charity for over 30 years. It cares for children aged 2-5 years old and is managed by a committee of mainly parents and a team of qualified experienced practitioners.
Little Oaks is committed to inclusion, equality and values diversity. We work in partnership with parents to help children learn and develop. The nursery accepts 15 and 30 hour funding, Time for Twos, plus childcare vouchers. Please see the Little Oaks Community Nursery Prospectus for more detailed information.

Services
It is very important to us that your child is happy at Little Oaks Community Nursery from their very first day. We are used to helping new children settle in and find new playmates. However, if you feel your child would be happier with you being present for some of the first few sessions we can arrange a settling in area.
Little Oaks Community Nursery is based in part of Wavendon Community Centre in the rural village of Wavendon. The nursery has sole rental of three large rooms linked by double doors, a corridor and six toilets, a kitchen area and an outside area with two canopies and storage sheds.
The nursery has sole use during opening hours to the adjoining hall, library area, meeting room, adult toilets and use of the all weather surfaced multi use games area.Children have access to our excellent range of equipment and resources in individual, small group and large group activities.

This is a simple way to raise money from your everyday online shopping. Every time you buy something online using the partner retailers, they say 'thank you' by giving a donation to us. You just need to register, for free, on their website, selecting 'Little Oaks Community Nursery - Wavendon' as your good cause to support, and then start shopping.
For the children's safety, unless they are a disabled badge holder, parents and visitors to Little Oaks are asked to park on the roadside or in the roadside parking area opposite the church and not within the community centre car park. It is very important that those using a vehicle consider the local community at drop off and pick up times.
Please be aware that we have a nut free policy. Please ensure any food that could pose a choking hazard, such as grapes and cherry tomatoes are cut in half lengthways. Please do not send in a drink bottle for snack time, as milk and water are provided by nursery and the children are encouraged to drink from an open cup.

My child went there until starting big school this September and she loved it! Mrs. Ward is such a great leader and other workers, who, in fact, are her children, are brilliant at entertaining and looking after their cohort. They truly care and put passion into their work and treat their responsibilities as being some of the first role models in our children's lives seriously, as they should.
One of the highlights of the year for Little Oaks parents is Sports Day, in which we get to get involved in games as well as the kids. That is a great thing for me as I used to be very athletic and sporty
