Wyvern is a warm and friendly school where we aim to make the learning environment as supportive and engaging as possible. We're pleased that you're spending time finding out about the school and hope that our website is informative. Our main aim is to settle the children into a nurturing and supportive school life fostering a sense of belonging and learning together.
Above all, we want to celebrate the children's success and want them to leave us well prepared and ready for the next stage of their educational journey. Wyvern is about learning, laughing, playing, meeting people and forming friendships to build a firm educational foundation. If you have not yet come to visit us, I hope that we'll meet in the near future.

Services
Wyvern has a strong staff team of dedicated people who all work closely together to deliver the best for the children. Wyvern is an infant school for children aged between 5 to 7 years old (academic years Reception/Foundation Station, Year 1 and Year 2). The Pupil Admission Number (PAN) is currently 120 children in each year group.
Please find below some short videos introducing the Leadership Team and giving an insight into the school. If you have further questions and would like to arrange a phone conversation please speak to the School Office. At Wyvern we fully support school uniform and believe that it definitely contributes to team spirit, a positive attitude and gives the children a sense of pride.
Wyvern is committed to self-development and our governors play a key role in assisting the school to reflect and continually improve. It can be a rewarding role but one that requires a similar level of commitment and dedication from the people that volunteer their time.
We are always keen to add to the diversity of our governing body, if you are interested in getting more involved with school life and becoming a school governor please contact the Chair of Governors or the Headteacher.Governor meetings are held each term across the academic year.
