Staying in the village in our Motorhome for weekend & booked here for an evening meal. Warm hospitality doesn't do it justice but we got that in spades. Absolutely delightful young woman attended to us throughout. She even invited us to enjoy our drinks by the open log fire whilst we waited on our food as it was a damp,chilly evening. We had a starter,a main course & drinks which came to £38 which was excellent value. Food was home cooked & she explained the specials in great detail. Enjoyed the ambience & the jazz music in the background. All Covid careful,sanitizer available,clean,lovely paintings

Wonderful hotel and restaurant. Staff were fantastic and very helpful. Food was fantastic- well worth a drive out. There's plenty of walks and wooded areas which is lovely for all the family, just a short drive to the nearby towns and local distilleries. Lots of places nearby that allows you to rent kayaks and bikes for outdoor adventures

I've stayed here in October while Scotland was in the midst of a circuit breaker lockdown due to Covid 19. Though it was very quiet the owners and staff have succeeded in making me forget that the pandemic even exists for 3 and a half blissful days, sparing nothing to make me feel like a VIP. The food, both breakfast and dinner, is amazing and the cozy armchairs by the open fireplace afford a chance to get lost in a book for hours with ease. When I did go out for a wander the owners have given me expert advice on the area and had an answer for every question! I look forward to visiting here again
