Located on the high banks of the River Avon and surrounded by ancient woodlands, the Delnashaugh Hotel promises our guests a really peaceful night's sleep. We have a selection of seven twin and double bedrooms: all with ensuite bathrooms with showers; all with nice comfy beds; and all tastefully decorated with draped curtains and solid wood furnishings.
Our farmhouse restaurant is open to both guests and non-residents. We have two dining areas, both displaying an old-world ambience and with lovely views across the River Avon.
Our lunch and dinner menus vary as the seasons progress and are always complimented by a daily specials board, allowing us to prepare dishes made from produce fresh from local markets; venison and game from Ballindalloch Castle, fresh fish from Portsoy or fresh lobster from Lossiemouth, to name just a few.

There is nothing quite like enjoying a pint or a wee dram in front of a roaring fire on a cold winter's evening, or a fine gin and tonic with an ice and a slice in a quiet pub garden on a warm summer's day. The Delnashaugh can offer our guests both, with plenty of memorable feasting and sluicing experiences in between.
If you have a special reason to celebrate then the Delnashaugh Hotel will help you celebrate in style. For private functions such as family parties, weddings, christening and anniversaries, you can book out the entire hotel for your exclusive use. Our attractive riverside gardens and spacious function rooms offer the ideal location for a party or special celebration - whether indoors or outdoors.
Two great Scottish Highland rivers converge on the Ballindalloch Estate. The River Spey, springing from a small loch in the Monadhliath Mountains, broad and rapid, the second longest river in Scotland and indisputably the fastest. The River Avon, the longest tributary of the Spey, its source some thirty eight miles distant upon the summit of Ben Muich Dhui.
