Nestled in the beautiful Pendle countryside, the Alma Inn is bursting with character and charm. It feels like you're stepping back in time with stone floors, original beams and open fires, this historic venue has spectacular moorland views and is minutes from Wycoller Country Park, made famous for its references in the Bronte sisters' novels.

The elegant function room is a favourite for weddings and events with accommodation. Nine luxurious en-suite bedrooms, all equipped with the latest facilities are perfect for a traditional stay in the English countryside. We mix the best ingredients with great personalities and atmospheric settings to create memorable experiences.
Services
We are especially passionate about seafood; it's not surprising considering our very strong links to the local fishing industry, which itself dates back to the 18th century. Naturally, this sees our food style lean towards light and fresh seafood dishes. That said, we all love the friendly informality of pubs, so British classics and hearty dishes have their place firmly on the menu.
Diners and visitors can stop over for a night or two, making the most of the menu and wine list, as well as the stunning location we're lucky to be part of. Our country pub with rooms has the most wonderful surroundings of the great outdoors, pretty market towns and historic attractions - right on our doorstep.

Superb. From the moment we entered to leaving. All the staff were more than helpful and caring. Always there and professional. Even a couple who were obviously shattered after a hard day's shift couldn't do enough.
The food was exceptional and the room was so clean, warm and well presented.
Cannot recommend this place enough.
It's a lovely location with great views too. Loved it.

Ordered gamon steak, very disappointed, extreme amount of salt on the gamon, informed lady about this, but they still charged full amount/bill, not even tried to offer a discount or refund. Are we gonna visit this place again? Definitely NO!
That's a shame, very nice area, but looks like unqualified staff are employed there.

The Alma literally came to our rescue during a power cut. We have a new born and they couldn’t have been more supportive and helpful. The rooms were great and very cosy. The food was excellent as ever! The staff were amazing, Becky the manager is a superstar! Thanks to all the staff, we couldn’t recommend this place more.

What a lovely spot! Superb views of the hills, matched by some well-thought out dishes on the menu.
The pies, any of them, are fabulous! I particularly like the fish dishes, always beautifully cooked and with excellent sauces, but having eaten here several times we have never had anything other than a lovely meal. Great choices of beers too.

Excellent food, excellent location - the views of Pendle Hill are fantastic, excellent beer. I had garlic mushrooms to start, the steak and kidney pudding for mains, and the lemon creme brulee for dessert. I don't think I could have picked anything better. The steak and kidney pudding was the best I've ever had - fish and chip shops eat your heart out.
