Banny's Drive Through & Restaurant
It started with a trip to the seaside. Banny's Restaurant is where it all began back in 2008 and we have come a long way. The menu is created around a coast to coast journey offering you our 'old school' and 'new school' favourites in a quintessentially British seaside setting.

There may be a few more of us now and more to come, but the things we believe in haven't changed; the best ingredients, service that makes you smile and the most delicious menu money can buy.Keeping with the Great British tradition. Our Fish and Chip shop, located at the back of our restaurant in Colne, offers an 'Old school' traditional takeaway menu centred on our Famous Original Recipe Haddock and Chips.

High quality of food and service. Restaurant is always clean and staff are very quick to respond to your needs. Today we visited restaurant around 1 pm and it was very very busy. We were seated and our order taken few minutes later. Our order has been served several minutes later. As other customers finished with their meals tables were cleared and cleaned. It was very pleasant watching serving team work so well.
Highly recommend to visit this place.

Take Away was very disappointing, very untidy in public area, portion size very small, food quality poor.
Don't mind paying the higher prices if quality is good ????

Used to visit Banny's regularly but have noticed a decline over the past 18 months. The last 3 occasions I've been (today included), the fish has been slimy & greasy & although very white, has no taste (but for oil/grease). Looking at the other reviews, the difference in experience could be something to do with staff that operate at the take out. Won't be back again, awful.

This is the best for top quality fish and chips. The homemade cheese and onion pie is also excellent.
Reminds me of the original Harry Ramsden's in Yorkshire back in the 1960s. Beware, though, the portions are big.
Staff are well trained and friendly. Love it.

First and foremost a fish & chip restaurant with takeaway counter. Well organised divided into two separate parts. When one half is getting full they start on filling the other side. Bright and airy. The decor is ships and sea birds. The service is quick enough. Food starts with Fish and chips, I had cheese and onion pie , enjoyed it though I usually have haddock. Photo is sardines I had in 2019.

Excellent food, had the Indian fish and chip absolutely divine.
Delicately seasoned with Indian spices and a Masala sauce to dip.
The regular fish and chips were quality as well.
Beautiful place, clean, friendly and reasonably priced.

Every time I visit Colne, I try to enjoy Banny's fish and chips. They are usually well prepared and fresh. On my most recent visit, I made the huge mistake of ordering their sausage and chips which was probably the worst I've ever tried in my life. The sausages were shriveled and obviously reheated, and the inside "meat" was white! One taste was enough to convince me not to proceed further.Service and price were as good as always, but unless they change the recipe, I would caution you not to try the sausages.

Cheap and cheerful! We have visited here a number of times.

If you are looking for a chippy for dinner this is a good place to visit. Sit in and enjoy your chippy tea.

The food is good and the staff are friendly.
