Visit us and see for yourself what we have to offer. Tameside Loves Reading is a borough-wide campaign to harness a love of reading and improve reading outcomes for children across Tameside. Monday - Friday, 9.00am to 12 noon (Early Years). If you are entitled to 30 hours nursery provision, you can split the hours between our Nursery and another setting if required.

A school judged to be good at its last inspection normally receives a one-day short inspection approximately every three years. The Inspector praised the enthusiastic leadership. We are delighted to announce that our school's work on promoting Emotional Health and Wellbeing for all children and our school family has been recognised by AcSEED.
Services
Hollingworth School is a great place to be; with a friendly atmosphere, hardworking and well behaved children, dedicated and talented staff, and an interested, supportive community. We pride ourselves in providing opportunities for all our pupils to achieve their full potential educationally, emotionally and socially.
Children are generally admitted during the school year in which they attain their 5th birthday. Our Nursery offers places for children aged 3-4 years, Monday-Friday 9.00am-12 noon. If you are entitled to 30 hours Nursery provision you can split the hours between our Nursery and another setting if required.
The school creates an inclusive environment; we have a policy within the school of caring for all our children. Every child at some time in their school life may need special educational help for any number of reasons. The staff are aware of this and are able to seek help and guidance on how to deal with problems as and when they occur.
Hollingworth Primary School is committed to providing high quality education and experiences for all our pupils. The pupil premium is additional funding for publicly funded schools in England to raise the attainment of disadvantaged pupils of all abilities and to close the gaps between them and their peers.
The person responsible for Safeguarding & Child Protection within our school is Mrs S Tickle. Hollingworth Primary School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff, volunteers and members of the wider school community to share this commitment.
