We’ve stayed at York Meadows several times throughout the year. Great location, beautiful site and the facilities are always nipping clean. The shop is well stocked and the park is fab for the kids. Julian and Ann are always there to welcome you with a smile and are on hand to help whenever you need them. Can’t wait to book for next season! Highly recommend this site ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Campsite itself is great, massive pitches and the toilets and showers including the disabled ones are great, some if the best I've used,my big gripe is there is only one block and been disabled found it difficult to get to,I hope they build another in the camping field but feel they are gearing up to do away with tent for all tin tents which then they don't need another shower block etc, shame because a nice site

Busy site, bigger than we thought. Pitches not as big as others we've visited. Clean and well kept, lovely fish and chip van once a week.
Facilities cleaned regularly and of good standard. Dog area not secure and lots of inconsiderate dog owners not picking up after their dogs.

We had a really lovely stay here, last minute booking, the staff showed us to three pitches we could choose.
The facilities were great, very clean, all really clearly explained. Our pitch was hard standing, EHU, no water on the pitch though.
We had a takeaway from the local pizza place which was fairly good, they will deliver to the camp site.
We found this site was probably a little bit far out from York for quick trips in BUT it is in a beautiful quiet location. The internet didn't work for us and be warned if you're with Three the phone signal is terrible.
We would visit again though.

I have been, but will not return, the showers soak everything as they are fixed and you need to repeatedly press in the button for hot water, it takes ages to shower. The park is missing something it has no character, it is clean, almost too clean, I felt like I was being watched constantly from the staff in the shop, there was clearly plenty of space for 2 cars, my sister was told to park outside the barrier which was a bit of a walk, given the price you pay, I think 2 cars on a spot is fine as long as it is not on the grass. I won't be back

Just back from a lovely stay at the campsite. Really well maintained and very clean, new toilet block. Good shop and well stocked with all the essential food and camping items. I see some negative reviews about the wardens on Google however all staff were friendly and courteous and had plenty of banter with the children onsite. Excellent playpark for children with around 7 different activities. Fish and Chips van comes round on Saturday evening, which was a nice bonus.
We had a super pitch with private water and waste and it was a very large pitch.
Cannot fault the staff or the campsite,we will

Very nice place, clean facilities, good size pitches. Nice park and football area for the kids. Chip van on a Saturday night was a real treat. Lost 1* because through the day park workers are constantly around the tents advising campers about rules and car placing etc, but at night they disappear so people are noisy until early hours. Got very little sleep because of people drinking until 1-2am.
