Beautiful site, lovely walks, friendly staff. The other caravanners were friendly and chatty. Close to Park and Ride to go into York. Beautiful shower block. We really enjoyed our weekend there and booked to go again before we left site.

Stayed there initially for 7 nights but enjoyed it so much extended by a further two days. The site is very well maintained and tidy. The shower block is new and very, very, good. It is extremely good value for the money. Will be returning again in the near future. Thank you for an enjoyable stay. Frank and Liz.

We have just had a five day stay at Moorside Caravan Park.
The host managers Craig and Teresa were excellent - very friendly, accommodating and couldn’t do enough for you.
The site itself has great facilities with a new shower / toilet block. Pitches were spacious and there was a nice atmosphere amongst the fellow motorhomers and caravanners. The fishing lake was excellent and it provided great entertainment for a lot of the people staying on site.
Good value and easy connections by bus into York city centre.
We would not hesitate in recommending this site.

Lovely looking site. Fishing good. But for is that's where it stopped for us. Showers clean but very old and the warden seem friendly but people say they are very picky with things. I personally didn't have a problem with them except when we were packing up and my husband had gone to empty the water waste and he came rushing over to tell me I was letting the water out been without it there. I was only just rinsing the sink. It's a long way from any where and no nice walks. You can hear trains on and off most of the day and gunfire from the nearby riffle ranges for the forces. There is 3 pubs within

This is a very well kept grounds with a nice spacious toilet and shower block, a laundry room and wash station. There is a massive lake you can fish in as well. It has about 60 to 100 pitches and no children are allowed, even visiting. The ground managers are a lovely couple as well, very helpful. Loaned us a hook up cable which we wasn't dupplied from the showroom!!
