Positives - the staff were extremely friendly and free WIFI & the info / book hut was well resourced But overall wasn't impressed and we have stayed at a number of sites. Electric went off a number of times during our stay, you have to pay for showers despite paying to stay there (yes, i know it says on your website but it's a negative for me when… you pay so much to stay), the toilets were portaloo's and not exactly clean, The MAJOR negatives were the road exiting the site as it had extremely horrible potholes which could not be avoided. Dreaded going out each day. & the pitch we

Stayed here for 3 nights for the 80's festival, I can't think of anything good to say! The facilities are shocking, a block of toilets/showers near the entrance with only 2 functioning showers that you pay 20p for a few minutes or £1 for 15mins, but the water trickles out. A couple of portaloo type toilets and showers dotted about but very smelly… and grubby. Just up the track full of potholes from our pitch was a proper loo in a shed, top tip though don't try and flush and wash your hands at the same time!! Our electric hook up pitch sloped towards the lake which was also quite smelly

Staff friendly but facilities very poor. The showers in the toilet block you have to pay for although you pay to stay!! There is a free shower in the one accessible toilet that is also baby change area and obviously meaning people use the shower to avoid paying meaning if you have mobility issues you have to wait a long time just to use the… toilet!! This is disgusting as there are 2 big steps to get into the 'normal' shower and toilet block but no handrail. I would definitely NOT stay here again and if you have any accessibility issues do not stay here.

Very nice site and will definitely be making another trip back. Love the Camping Kitchen where you have access to a Freezer , Fridge , Microwave and kettle if needed The grounds of the Campsite are lovely… and our Jack Russell has been loving the woods and probably doesn't want to go home !! Lovely fishing lake to anyone that likes fishing , all in all highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
