Services
I turned professional in 2000, having gained a degree at the University of Central Lancashire and have worked as a teaching professional at a variety of venues including Willow Valley Golf Club near Leeds, Bramshaw Golf Club in the New Forest and Hambrook Golf Centre in Bristol. For the past 15 years I have been working at Hartpury College as a Lecturer and Coach on the BTEC Diploma in Sport (specializing in Golf) programme.
The course has streams and small ponds have been woven into the landscape with mature trees and wooded areas been left as nature intended. This is what gives the course a natural beauty, and its golfers some natural hazards! The first 10 holes will have you negotiating the lower slopes, with streams running both parallel and across the fairways.
Our friendly and welcoming Clubhouse is set between the two 9's. It is complete with an open plan lounge which offers stunning, panoramic views over the course and to the valley beyond. During the summer months our new patio area provides the perfect place to view the course whilst you relax with a large variety of food and drink provided by our dedicated bar team.

The Club promotes and organizes a full range of competitions throughout the Calendar year, including monthly medals, regular Stablefords, nationally sponsored competitions, summer knock out and winter league competitions and a club championship. In addition, there is the North Gloucestershire Foursomes League, County Union Matches, Club night, 'B' Team Matches, Open competitions, inter-section matches and the occasional friendly.

Complete waste of time, I turned up last week only to be told that they had to close early due to covid. OK fine I tried again this week. Rang first to check they will still be open an hour and a half before I was due to arrive. Turned up only to be told "due to staff illness they had to close". That came on quickly didn't it. The more likely story is they've been closing early as they were quiet and wanted to go home. Won't be attending again, if the staff can't be bothered why should I?
