We pride ourselves on our proper, real, home made food, without the need for menu pollution, Please dont expect, Kalamansi lime airs, futons of crushed potato, Wakame seaweed foam or an entire main course you can fit on a dessert fork. We offer traditional, satisfying, local and hugely popular favourites, but with flair and personality.

What's On Report

A Wine Club, Quizes, For Sharing Friday and regular celebrations and parties, there's plenty going on at the The Swan Inn. Have a look below and see if there's something for you, and if not, we're open to suggestions. This event takes place in early August and brings visitors from all over the world to this beautiful seaside town.

We have no private parking, but are situated opposite a large council owned car park. So even if you just want a snack or main meal, you can enjoy it in the surroundings of our wood panelled bar and open log fire. We are we are unable to accommodate any bookings which include CHILDREN UNDER 14. We also have limited tables in the bar area, available for bookings if you are BRINGING YOUR DOG.

Stopped for a pint. Beer was in perfect condition. Comfortable and good ambience but not a great beer choice. Tied to the Ram brewery? Food looked quite elaborate.

Well this place is just fantastic I went here on Sunday and it was absolutely amazing I had a 8oz Sirloin steak cooked medium and it was delicious it was cooked perfectly it was very juicy and flavorful I would definitely recommend dinning here.

Lovely pub tucked away from the sea front. The locals made us feel extremely welcome 😊. Been a few times during our stay in Sidmouth. Lovely food and decent wine . Friendly staff and loads of outdoor space

A nice pub, with a good welcome. We popped in for lunch, and had the prawn Marie Rose baguette, and a baguette with local crab. Both were very tasty.
The beer, (I had the Young's bitter), was well kept, and the wine was above average pub fare.

Best pub in town!! Great hidden gem just a walk away from the main high street. Great value beers and wines available. Extensive outside seating area when the weather permits!! Oh and the inside seating is quite nice and cosy aswell. Food is always top notch and never had a bad meal here, and I am am fussy! Friendly and helpful staff make this my no1 place to go when in town!!

Highly recommended! Dog friendly, polite and chatty staff and some cracking oddball round back selling real ales and scrumpy. Clean, spacious and a nice garden with plenty of seating. Get some pork scratchings in though! 😉

Beautiful little pub in sidmouth, just back from the seafront .very friendly landlord .we didn't have time to eat here but the food looked great just had the cider.

Great food in the garden, excellent choice of food, including plenty of food for vegetarians. Would highly recommend this place for meals, we had 4 different meals and all were excellent.
