Services
The Sanskrit word 'Yoga' has many meanings but it is generally thought to have derived from the word root 'yuj' meaning to unite, yoke or join together. This union relates to the balance of mind and body to attain self enlightenment. Yoga is the practice of physical postures (Asanas), breathing techniques (Pranayama) and relaxation.
Even as a teenager attending my first Yoga class I noticed and enjoyed not only the expected physical opening but also an amazing sense of calm and space. After moving around the UK I discovered Yoga again later in life and attended Hatha, Ashtanga Vinyasa and Sivananda classes as often as possible.
Unless otherwise stated, classes are suitable for everyone including beginners. We are keeping safety measures in place so booking is required for all classes and workshops, please contact your teacher directly for booking and payment details.
