Norfolk House Nursery is the longest running Nursery in Newport. Established in 1989, it is proud of the reputation it has built over the years. Situated conveniently on the junction of Caerau Road and Caerau Crescent, it enjoys the benefit of having two large adjoining Victorian three storey buildings providing a safe, homely and stimulating environment.

Nursery Areas Report

We cater for babies from 6 weeks old to 18 months old, providing them with two dedicated play, dining and sleep rooms where all the staff provide a loving and stimulating environment. Throughout the day the babies benefit from a wide range of activities, socialising with other children, listening to songs and playing with the dedicated members of staff.

Education Programme Report

Each child can experience a variety of materials which extend their experiences of sound, touch, taste and sight. This area focuses on how children respond to and co-operate with each other outside the family environment. Emphasis is placed on the importance of personal, social, moral and spiritual development including developing a positive sense of themselves and an awareness of the needs and feelings of others.

Nursery Information Report

Early starts are charged at 6 for each half hour. Please note that a full week sibling discount of 10% for the second child is applied and 5% for part time placements. Various childcare vouchers are accepted; please contact us for further information. All meals are cooked in-house by our onsite cook using only the freshest ingredients.
