Our garden area is very important to us, as we believe that it is one of our greatest assets, it is an area where children can learn so much. Our garden offers a wonderfully rich, multi-sensory environment that is meaningful, stimulating and motivating for all of our young children. It is a different environment that works in harmony with the indoors, extending and complementing it.
The Foundation Phase is a framework that is used in schools, local authority funded nurseries, playgroups and childminders throughout Wales. It is about enhancing the learning experiences, which enable children to be creative, imaginative and to have fun whilst learning.
Children are given opportunities to explore the world around them and to understand how things work through engaging in relevant practical activities which are fun and enjoyable and relevant to their developmental stages. The Foundation Phase places greater emphasis on experiential learning, active involvement and developing each child's.

We loved our time at Burleigh house and would recommend their care, our son would always be excited for his days in nursery and we used to love how he would come home and tell us all the different things he would have discovered each week, from songs, crafts, gardening, toys and all the “yummy dinners” a really lovely place.

My son attended here from the time he was 8 months old until he left for school nursery at 3.5 he absolutely loved the nursery and enjoyed his time never wanted to come home! He still remembers his time there and often talks about everyone. The staff are all amazing and really do take an interest in your child highly recommend them.

Everything. Friendly staff, warmth atmosphere, nursery constantly updates its facilities and equipment. My two children loved and enjoyed every day in Burleigh House and we as parents never complained about the service since my first child started her sessions at 17 moths old (2009). I am wishing Burleigh House to keep it that way and I am more than sure that they will.
