The Owl and Pussycat Nursery is a warm, caring and professional child care facility located in a converted chapel nestling in a quiet corner of Caerleon. Our beautifully converted chapel offers three light and spacious dedicated areas for the enjoyment and development of Babies, Toddlers and Preschool children.

Services
At The Owl and Pussycat Nursery we recruit and select high quality, qualified, experienced nursery practitioners. Our professional and friendly staff are run by our owner Catherine Jones and assisted by her manager, Chloe Jeremiah, and deputy manager, Aneesa Ayub. Each age group also has a room leader who mentors and supervises their staff team.
Our preschool area is on the left hand side of the downstairs area, and caters for up to 7 children aged 3-4 years. The ratio for preschool is 1 staff member to 7 children. Our pre-school area features a kitchen and shop role-play area, a writing area, block and construction area and an inviting purpose built book corner.
There is an emphasis on developing children's knowledge, skills and understanding through play, experiential learning (learning by doing) and by solving real life problems in both indoor and outdoor environments through these areas of learning. Our children are involved in a variety of different child initiated and adult led activities each day.

We absolutely love The Owl & Pussycat. We searched for a long time for a small and personal nursery where our daughter wouldn't be swallowed up. Here she is one of a maximum of 6 babies, always with at least two wonderful staff, and always cared for incredibly well. The settling in process is kind and thorough, allowing you time and space to be comfortable from the child and parents perspective. Our Daughter has only been attending for a few weeks but already smiles when we approach the door, and gets exciting to see Hannah & Aneesa.
