Whilst we are a partnership of schools, each of our schools retain their own unique identity whilst sharing a single vision and several core values. To ensure that every child in our care is happy at school, thrives in our school environment and builds knowledge and understanding of core Christian values to help underpin the whole of their future life.
Our vision to lay the foundations for life through encouraging one another and building each other up.

Information gathered from Wikepedia on our schools founder Christopher William Giles Puller 1807 - 1864. Gladstone, he graduated B.A. in 1828, and M.A. in 1832.
We are delighted to be a stormbreak school. Through being involved in stormbreak we aim to improve children's mental health through movement, equipping them with sustainable, transferable skills and coping strategies to thrive during the complex demands of growth into adult life. Today's children move less than ever before whilst mental health issues are on the rise.
We are using 1decision Early Years resources to meet the needs of Personal Social & Emotional Development in early years. Each of the Rainbow Drops face a range of dilemmas like feeling scared, learning to share, worry and adjusting to change, road safety, making friends, etc. Children will be involved in group discussions to share their ideas on how to help the Rainbow Drops.
We will be reading Jill Murphy's Five Minutes' Peace, Mo Willems' Knuffle Bunny and Group Reader Boris and Sid Make a Mess, inspiring children to write a familiar settings story. Our Year 1/2 children learn the English alphabetic code: first they learn one way to read the 40+ sounds and blend these sounds into words, then learn to read the same sounds with alternative graphemes.
Reading: All children are expected to read at home daily for at least 15 minutes. We encourage your child to include other genres in their reading, including non-fiction sources such as newspapers, magazines and reference materials. Parents are encouraged to sign the reading records to indicate that this has been done each day.
